9 mile Monday

I took the day off today.

I ran 9 miles in the spitting snow.

It was 30 degrees.

The new route that I ran today had a couple of hills that made my right calf want to cramp up.

I have only eaten 2 bananas today and a 20 ounce cup of coffee. We are going out tonight for my wife's birthday so I have been saving my intake for the Italian restaurant.

As usual, my body told me when I had reached 7 miles. It is like an alarm clock . . .at 7 miles different parts of my body took turns complaining and warning me that my lower body wasn't happy with me.

3 hours after my run . . .I feel great . . .this is WHY I RUN.
